SUMMARY:WEBINAR From Challenge to Change: Voices of Lyme & Lived Experience
DESCRIPTION:From Challenge to Change: Voices of Lyme & Lived Experience\nIn support of Lyme Disease Awareness Month\, we’re bringing together three people who have been personally affected by Lyme disease to share their experiences. \nThis webinar is intended to be a safe\, open space for patients\, families\, and anyone navigating Lyme to hear real stories: the challenges\, the setbacks\, and the day-to-day reality of living with this condition. \nOur speakers will talk honestly about their journeys\, including diagnosis\, ongoing symptoms\, and the ups and downs that can come with Lyme disease. It’s a chance to feel less alone\, learn from others\, and hear perspectives that don’t always get shared in clinical settings.\nWe hope this session offers a sense of connection\, understanding\, and support\, wherever you are on your journey. \nThis session will be facilitated by Gilian Crowther and Dr. Athanasios Vergopoulos (Laboratory Medical Director of ArminLabs) \n

SUMMARY:Yes to Life Annual Conference 2026 - Online
DESCRIPTION:Reclaiming our True Nature \nWhat science is telling us about the impact of psychological\, emotional and spiritual factors on survivorship \nThis year’s conference focuses on the deeper forces at work affecting our overall longevity and\, therefore of great importance to anyone faced with a diagnosis of cancer. \nIt has now been recognised that although factors such as diet and exercise are crucial elements to any lifestyle recovery programme\, the effect of these will be seriously undermined if issues such as chronic stress\, unresolved trauma\, poor social connections and loneliness\, disconnection from nature and its rhythms\, or fundamental lack of purpose are not addressed. \nSpeakers will explore the science behind these findings and the available resources and support to embrace the changes required to reclaim our true nature.  \n  \n
