CNM London: Why Are You Always Tired?

Why Are You Always Tired? Exploring the Science Behind Persistent Fatigue
Why does fatigue persist even when you’re sleeping well, eating carefully and doing everything you can to support your health?
Join Professor Douglas Kell CBE and Morley M. Robbins, author of Cu-RE Your Fatigue, in London on Tuesday 20 October 2026 for an evening exploring the complex connections between fatigue, mineral metabolism, energy production and emerging research into microclots.
Rather than viewing fatigue simply as a consequence of having “too little iron”, the evening will explore the wider relationships between iron, copper, magnesium, metabolism and cellular energy production, and why mineral balance may be an important consideration when persistent low energy remains unexplained.
Topics will include:
- Why iron metabolism is more complex than simply having “enough” iron
- The relationships between iron, copper and magnesium
- The role of mineral balance in energy production and metabolism
- Emerging research into fibrinaloid microclots and their potential relevance to chronic conditions
- Why looking at individual nutrients in isolation may not provide the full picture
- Factors worth considering when fatigue and low energy persist
The event brings together two very different but complementary perspectives. Professor Douglas Kell CBE is an internationally recognised scientist whose work spans biochemistry, systems biology, biotechnology and chronic disease research. His recent research has focused on fibrinaloid microclots and their potential role in conditions including Long COVID and ME/CFS.
Morley M. Robbins, author of Cu-RE Your Fatigue, is an international educator specialising in mineral metabolism, with a particular focus on the relationships between copper, iron, magnesium and energy production.
This is a great opportunity to hear both speakers in person, explore some thought-provoking perspectives on persistent fatigue and connect the dots between mineral metabolism, cellular energy and chronic health. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Morley Robbins after the talk and have a copy of Cu-RE Your Fatigue signed
