INSTRUCTIONS
This kit is a tool for collecting and transporting a human capillary blood sample to the laboratory.
Please read these instructions carefully before starting to collect blood.
NB: Please note that the laboratory cannot ensure that the tests will be conducted properly unless the circles on the blood collection card are correctly and completely filled.
STEP 1
Before using the blood collection card, please use a ballpoint pen (not a fountain pen) to write your first and last name, together with the date of blood collection.

STEP 2
Warm your hands under warm water for a couple of minutes and dry them on a clean towel. Hang your arm down and shake your fingers to increase blood flow

Clean your ring finger or middle finger with the alcohol swab and let it dry. Position a lancet alongside the tip of the finger.

STEP 4
Insert lancet to a depth of 2 mm. Massage the entire length of the finger to allow for a large drop of blood.

STEP 5
Touch the tip of the drop of blood to the first circle. Do not touch the circle with your finger!
Repeat until the 2 circles are completely filled

STEP 6
When completely dry, fold the card and place it in the plastic bag supplied in the kit.
