BNFM Annual Conference 2026 – Functional Medicine in Metabolic Health

Join the British Network for Functional Medicine (BNFM) on 7 November 2026 in London for a full day exploring the rapidly evolving field of functional medicine and metabolic health.

This year’s conference brings together leading experts to explore the complex connections between metabolism, stress biology, cardiometabolic health, liver health and hormonal and neurological function. With a strong focus on practical insights, emerging science and systems-based thinking, the programme is designed to support practitioners in deepening their understanding and applying new knowledge in clinical practice.

The programme features expert presentations from Alex Wilber PhD, Dr Steve James, Natalie Burrows, Professor Bernadette Moore and Pol de Saedelaar PhD, covering topics including metabolic syndrome, metabolic repair and resilience, CGMs in clinical practice, steatotic liver disease and the future of metabolic health beyond GLP-1 medications. The day also includes a panel Q&A, providing an opportunity for discussion and knowledge-sharing.

More than an educational event, the BNFM Annual Conference is an opportunity to connect with fellow practitioners, exchange ideas and strengthen the UK functional medicine community. BNFM’s wider mission is to support collaboration between practitioners from different professional backgrounds, with the shared goal of improving patient outcomes and advancing high-quality functional medicine in the UK.
