Do I need to fast?
No, it is not necessary to fast for CellTrend tests.
Does the blood require refrigeration?
Please do not store the CellTrend sample in the fridge. The sample must be kept at room temperature.
Does the blood require a centrifuge?
Yes, the CellTrend sample (Serum) requires a centrifuge.
Keep the blood sample upright (with the cap at the top) for 30 minutes to allow the blood to clot.
Centrifuge the sample for 10 minutes at 2400 rpm
Carefully transfer the serum layer with a pipette, avoiding the buffy layer
Where do I send the CellTrend Order Form?
Please include a completed and signed copy of the order form in the kit with your blood samples.
The correct tests must be marked, and test numbers listed. Failure to do this may result in additional costs, or require a new blood draw.
What does the test kit contain?
The test kits are standard, and contain:
1x Serum Vacutainer Collection Tube for the phlebotomist taking the blood.
1x Transfer tube
1x Transport tube
1x Sealable plastic bag
1x hard copy of the CellTrend Order Form
1x instructions for the phlebotomist & instructions for arranging the courier pickup.
Do the test kits expire?
DHL Waybills are valid for 2 weeks.
UPS Waybills are valid for 3 months.
If your waybill has expired please let us know at least 24 hours before your blood draw so we can send you a new one.
The tubes in the test kit have a use by date printed on the label next to a 
symbol. Please check these dates.
The CellTrend Order Form is periodically updated.
I haven’t received my CellTrend test kit, what should I do?
Please email us at support@aonm.org or call 03331 210 305 (09:00-16:30 Mon-Fri) and let us know your name, address, and telephone number.
How quickly should I receive my test kit?
Test kits to UK addresses are sent by 1st Class Royal Mail so they usually arrive within 2-3 working days.
Will I be charged postage?
When paying for the tests & courier in advance, there is no additional cost for the test kit or postage.
When ordering a test kit before paying for the tests & courier, shipping a test kit to a customer within the UK costs £10, but this will be deducted from the final amount.
